Gas Series

The Gas Series is KingCrop's fuel-forward flower shelf: the loud, pungent end of the menu, where the jar announces itself before the lid is off. If you shop by nose instead of by strain chart, start here. On this shelf, gas and pink are one flavour line rather than two. The pink-named cultivars we carry all sit in the same skunky, diesel-sharp lane, which is why Pink Rockstar and Pink Tuna share a category page. What "gas" means on this shelf Gas describes an aroma, not a grade. Gassy weed is flower that leans diesel, rubber and struck-match rather than sweet citrus or berry. The smoke is thick and coating, the room smell lingers past the session, and most people file gas as an evening pick rather than a bright midday one. Nose: diesel, skunk, a sharp chemical top note Flavour: peppery and earthy underneath the fuel Feel: heavy and slow, better suited to a couch than a schedule What is on the Gas Series shelf now Stock currently runs Pink Rockstar and Pink Rockstar Smalls, Pink Tomford, Pink Tuna, Pink Goo and Pink Gelato. Pink Rockstar anchors the line, Pink Gelato reads sweeter for a gas cultivar, and Pink Tuna and Pink Goo sit at the most pungent end of the six. Names rotate. Gas Star, Pink Lava and Island Pink have all been stocked recently and return as batches land, so shop the grid rather than a strain you remember. When the gas shelf is thin, the AAAA weed shelf carries the sweeter cherry, berry and haze end of the flower menu. Smalls, full buds and ordering Smalls are the smaller buds off the same flower line: plainer in the jar, much the same once ground, and the usual pick if you burn through gas quickly. Full buds are the call when bag appeal matters. Pink Rockstar Smalls and Pink Gelato also sit on the OZ Deals shelf if you are buying by the ounce. GTA orders go out for local delivery, and everywhere else in Canada is discreet mail-order shipping. The order desk is open 12PM to 10PM daily, and every order is 19+. Gas Series FAQ What does gas weed actually smell like? Fuel, solvent and skunk, with a sharp top note that lands before any sweetness does. Break a bud up and the whole room knows. If you want fruit or candy first, this is the wrong shelf. Why are most Gas Series strains named Pink? Because here the pink family and the gas family are the same flavour line. Pink Rockstar, Pink Tuna, Pink Goo and Pink Tomford share that fuel-and-skunk backbone, so we keep them on one shelf. What is the difference between Pink Rockstar and Pink Rockstar Smalls? Bud size. Smalls are the smaller pieces off the same line, so they look plainer in the jar but grind and roll much the same. Choose smalls if you go through flower fast, full buds if presentation counts. How do I keep gas flower from losing its smell? Airtight glass, out of the light, somewhere cool and stable. Plastic baggies and a warm shelf strip terpenes fastest, and terpenes are the entire point of this category. Open the jar only when you are rolling. Which Gas Series pick suits a social night versus winding down? Pink Gelato is the more approachable, sociable end of the shelf. Pink Tuna, Pink Goo and Pink Rockstar smoke heavier and read as evening flower. New to gas? Start with a small amount and short puffs.
