The Gas Star strain sits on our quad shelf, and quad is the top grade we buy. The extra letter buys nose and resin, not more grams for the money. This grade typically lands in the mid-to-high 20s for THC; individual batches vary either side of that. Nobody handed us a breeder sheet or a family tree with this lot, and we are not inventing either. What separates quad from AAA is the honest read; the rest of the tier sits on the AAAA shelf.

Creamy citrus riding on dirty diesel

The flavour leads creamy and citrus-forward, then hands off to spicy, skunky, earthy diesel — which is why it sits with the rest of the Gas Series flower. Nugs are oversized and long, spade-shaped, green with deep purple underneath and bright amber hairs across them, under a trichome coat that is thick and almost clear. We weigh these by hand, and the resin announces itself on the scale pan.

It does not lift you, it lowers you

No jolt at the front of this one. It opens heady and slow, drops the shoulders, then sends a tingle through the arms and legs until sleep stops being optional. The shelf tags read euphoric, relaxed and sleepy, and that is the order they turn up in. We keep it filed with the indica listings as a last-hours bag. If you only smoke to get moving in the morning, skip this one.

For the fuel side of it, Death Diesel is the nearest AAAA thing on the shelf — louder on diesel, shorter on the cream, and sativa-dominant where this one is not. Three sizes run on this listing, 7G, 14G and 28G, and nothing under that. Every weight is priced in CAD on the buy box above. Free delivery and free Ground shipping apply to orders over $150 CAD; under that, local delivery is a $10 flat fee, mail orders pay the shipping rate shown at checkout, and the minimum order is $60. Every order includes a free gift. Flower is bagged in 7G and 28G units: a 7G order comes as one bag, 14G as two 7G bags, and 28G as a single 28G bag. Gas Star is slow off the mark for a quad — a few quiet minutes, then the head softens and the body follows. The useful stretch runs a couple of hours before sleep takes the decision away from you. How long a weed high lasts covers what moves that around.

Gas Star goes out on the mail lane whenever it is on the shelf. Local GTA delivery lands within 2 hours of order confirmation, 12PM to 10PM, 365 days a year.
