What actually happens after you place a North York order?

Order any day between 12PM and 10PM and a driver reaches your North York address within two hours of order confirmation, on a $60 CAD minimum, with government ID checked at the door; we sell to 19+ only. North York has been one of Toronto’s six districts since the 1998 amalgamation, and it still moves like several suburbs stitched together by Highway 401.

Two GO corridors touch the district. The Barrie line stops at Downsview Park, where the platform meets Line 1 of the subway; the Richmond Hill line at Oriole, tucked under the Highway 401 overpass west of Leslie Street. Office work concentrates at North York Centre, on Yonge Street between Finch and Sheppard, and at the Consumers Road cluster just west of Victoria Park Avenue.

The money side is short. $60 CAD is the minimum, local delivery is a flat $10, and at $150 CAD the fee comes off, whether the address is in Willowdale or Humber Summit. Ounces on the ounce deals shelf start at $59; one ounce plus any second item clears the minimum, and the $10 stays until the cart crosses $150. Every order of $60 or more goes out with a free gift. Roads are the variable. The stretch of Highway 401 through Toronto is North America’s busiest highway, split into collector and express lanes; only the collectors reach every exit. Its junctions with Highway 400 in the west of the district and with Highway 404 and the Don Valley Parkway in the east are where traffic piles up at rush hour. Allen Road is an expressway only between Eglinton Avenue West and Transit Road, a stub of a cancelled plan, and southbound cars queue from as far north as Lawrence Avenue to get off at Eglinton.

Then there are the valleys. The west branch of the Don River crosses Yonge Street at Hoggs Hollow, and the east branch runs south-east through the ravine forests east of Willowdale and Don Mills, so the grid breaks at both and two addresses that look close on a map are not. In winter, plows reach expressways long before residential streets, so a bare Highway 401 tells you nothing about your crescent in Bathurst Manor. Send a unit number and buzzer code for the towers, a gate code for townhouse complexes, and meet the driver with ID.

Exact street coverage is set by the checker on the delivery area page, not by that list. North of Steeles Avenue, the northern boundary, York Region begins: the map carries on into Thornhill and, west of Yonge Street, across Vaughan. Cross Victoria Park Avenue, the eastern boundary, and you want the Scarborough same-day page.

Some addresses will not get same-day. The western edge of the district follows the Humber River and our map does not trace it neatly, so if the checker says no, mail order across Canada, paid by card or Interac e-Transfer, is the route. For same-day delivery, new orders stop at 10PM; anything placed after that is delivered the next day.

• Yonge and Sheppard. Sheppard–Yonge station, under Yonge Street at Sheppard Avenue, is the subway’s fourth-busiest station and the transfer point between Line 1 and Line 4 Sheppard. The intersection’s northwest corner, once called Lansing corner, held the post office of Lansing, a postal village later merged with its neighbours into Willowdale.
• Newtonbrook, around Yonge and Finch. It lies between the east and west branches of the Don River. Finch station, under Yonge Street north of Finch Avenue, is the northern terminus of Line 1’s eastern portion and the TTC’s busiest bus terminal, with GO and York Region Transit buses at the adjoining Finch Bus Terminal.
• Bayview Village. The City of Toronto places it between Bayview Avenue and Leslie Street, from Highway 401 up to Finch Avenue East. Street names such as Citation Drive and Palomino Crescent recall the racehorse training grounds that were here before it. Bayview station on Line 4 sits at Sheppard and Bayview, by the Bayview Village Shopping Centre.
• Don Mills. Developed in the 1950s and 1960s as a self-supporting “new town”, it runs from York Mills Road south to the Canadian Pacific rail line, between Leslie Street and the Don Valley Parkway. The Shops at Don Mills stand at Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East. Line 4’s Don Mills station is not in the neighbourhood: it sits at Sheppard Avenue East in Henry Farm and Don Valley Village, beside Fairview Mall.
• Jane and Finch. Centred on Jane Street and Finch Avenue West, it runs roughly from Highway 400 east to Black Creek and from Sheppard Avenue up to Steeles. The City counts the part north of Finch as Black Creek and the part south as Glenfield-Jane Heights. Line 6 Finch West, open since December 2025, stops at the intersection itself.
• Lawrence Manor. Highway 401, Bathurst Street, Lawrence Avenue and Allen Road frame it; Yorkdale station sits in the Allen Road median just south of the 401, on its western edge. Lawrence Plaza, at Bathurst and Lawrence, opened in 1953.
