There is one size: ten 0.7 g pre-rolls, 7 g net, one strain per box, at $40 a box. We do not split boxes or sell PEM singles. At 0.7 g a joint sits between a half-gram mini and a full gram, a solid smoke for one person or a short one for two. The type is printed down the side of every box in big letters, so you know which way a box leans before you open it.

The boxes are loud on purpose: drips, splashes and cartoon fruit, with a different design for every strain. A window across the middle shows the cones before you break the seal, packed tops and kraft filter tips, and several of the papers are printed in the same artwork as the box. Every box carries the 19+ and THC marks and a “lab tested” badge.

PEM prints only the type, so we group the menu the same way. The flavour notes come from each strain’s name and box art, not from lab results, and we make no claims about how any strain feels.

What “infused” means on a PEM box

A plain pre-roll is ground flower in a paper cone. An infused one has a concentrate added to that flower, usually distillate (a refined THC oil), kief or hash (sifted resin glands), or live resin (an extract that keeps more of the strain’s smell). PEM prints infused on the box without saying what the infusion is, and we do not guess. Any infusion slows the burn, because the paper has oil and resin to work through as well as leaf.

How to light an infused joint

Infused joints run, burning down one side, when the tip is torched fast and unevenly. Toast the end slowly and turn it as you go, take shorter pulls, and let it rest between them. Keep the box closed and away from heat; concentrate softens in a warm car or a sunny window and can stick the cones together.
