PEM Infused Pre-Rolls, from Pineapple Express Meds, come ten to a box, 0.7 g each, 7 g net, and we carry the line in fifteen strains. One strain per box, and the type is printed down the side in big letters (sativa, hybrid or indica), so you know which way a box leans before you open it. PEM prints infused on the box without saying what the infusion is, so the section below covers what it usually means. Fifteen strains at one size makes PEM the widest pick on our pre-roll shelf.

The boxes are loud on purpose: drips, splashes and cartoon fruit, a different design for every strain. A window across the middle shows the cones before you break the seal, packed tops and kraft filter tips, with several of the papers printed in the same artwork as the box. Every box carries the 19+ and THC marks and a third-party lab-tested badge.

What "infused" means on a pre-roll label

A plain pre-roll is ground flower in a paper cone. An infused one has a concentrate added to that flower before or after it is packed. The usual choices are distillate, a refined THC oil with little taste of its own; kief or hash, the resin glands sifted off the plant; or live resin, an extract that keeps more of the strain's smell. Each one pushes the strength past a flower-only joint, and each one slows the burn, because the paper has oil and resin to work through as well as leaf.

That last part changes how you light it. Infused joints run, burning down one side, when the tip is torched fast and unevenly. Toast the end slowly and turn it as you go, take shorter pulls, and let it rest between them. Keep the box closed and away from heat; concentrate softens in a warm car or a sunny window and can stick the cones together.

Since we started stocking Top Tier's infused box in late September, every order for one has gone out as a same-day GTA delivery, and nearly every one of those carts had something else in it too, most often a single infused moonrock joint. If you only smoke once a month, this box is not for you: ten infused rolls will dry out in a drawer before you finish them, and a single from the pre-roll shelf is the better buy. It is not a first joint for someone new to cannabis either.

PEM or Top Tier: which infused box should I buy?

Both are ten 0.7 g pre-rolls to a box. Top Tier is labelled double infused, full melt hash plus live resin, and comes in four strains. PEM's box says infused and comes in fifteen. If strength is the whole point, start with Top Tier. If you want a particular strain, or a different one each night, PEM gives you far more to choose from.

Can I get several different strains in one order?

Yes. Pick a strain, add the box to your cart, then pick the next one and add that. Each strain is its own line at checkout, and the boxes count together toward free delivery and the free gift.

Is it delivered the same day, or mailed?

Both. In the GTA a driver delivers within 2 hours of order confirmation, 12PM to 10PM, and checks ID at the door. Everywhere else in Canada we ship in plain packaging. Orders over $150 CAD get free delivery in the GTA and free Ground shipping everywhere else in Canada. Under that, the fee shows at checkout before you pay.
