The loudest flavour on the shelf. Banana is unmistakable from the moment the pack opens, and it does not fade the way the subtler ones do. Five cigars to a pack, and nothing on them is graded the way flower is.

The Banana character

Ripe rather than green — closer to banana bread than to the sweet you get in a candy aisle. It holds from the first draw to the last, which is either the reason you buy it or the reason you do not. The dark leaf underneath is the same one every Backwoods uses, and it is what stops the flavour from going flat.

These are tobacco cigars, not cannabis: no strain, no grade, no THC figure. They sit on the papers, wraps and accessories shelf beside the Juicy Jays blueberry hemp wraps, and we stock them for the same reason.

How they smoke

Loose, and slower than they look.

The leaf is unpressed and ragged on purpose, so the draw is wide and the burn wanders if you rush it. Most people who buy these are splitting them rather than smoking them straight — how to use a blunt roller covers that, and what a blunt actually costs does the arithmetic.

If you don't smoke tobacco, skip this one. Ready-to-smoke pre-rolls or King Palm slim cones get you there without the leaf.

Is it too sweet?

It is the strongest flavour we carry, so if you want the leaf to lead, start with Vanilla instead. People who like Banana like it precisely because it does not back off.

Does the flavour fade as it burns?

Less than the others. Vanilla and the limited editions settle down through the middle of the cigar; Banana stays where it started, which is why splitting one and sharing it works better than smoking it straight through.

How should I store a Backwoods 5-pack?

Sealed, cool and out of direct sun. Heat and open air are what dry the leaf, and dry leaf cracks the second you unroll it. We keep ours in a drawer, not the fridge.

How do I pay, and how fast is delivery?

Local GTA delivery lands within 2 hours of order confirmation, 12PM to 10PM, 365 days a year. Outside the GTA we ship Canada-wide by mail order, paid by card or e-Transfer. Pay by Interac e-Transfer, which carries a 5% fee, or cash on delivery on local orders. Every delivery is 19+ with government-issued photo ID checked at the door.
