G Wiz smokes soft and lands slowly. The first pull is sweet and resinous rather than sharp, and it sits up in the head for a few minutes, light and talkative. Then the indica side arrives: shoulders drop, and whatever you had planned for 10PM becomes tomorrow's job.

What the G Wiz strain smells and looks like

Blueberry pie is the first note out of the bag: baked, sweet, faintly jammy, with diesel and pine under it. Frost covers the whole nug instead of dusting the tips, which is what the AAAA shelf is for and where the grade letters stop being decoration. You are looking at mid-to-high 20s THC territory here, with normal batch-to-batch drift.

A pedigree is the one thing we cannot hand you. G Wiz is an obscure name, and the parents the old listing printed had nothing holding them up, so they are gone. Its tags read energetic, euphoric and happy: fair about the first few minutes, quiet about the rest of the night.

Who should skip this one

If you only smoke before noon, this is not for you. Go carefully on a first session: quad flower this resinous hits heavier than the same weight off a milder shelf, and Purple Moonshine buys a similar evening with less of a slap. Fruitier and sweeter on the nose: Pink Caviar.

Does G Wiz arrive dry or sticky?
