On the flip side, if you look at medicinal cannabis in California, you can find it running for $10 per gram. Black market prices will be considerably less than that.

The cannabis industry isn’t like the oil industry where you can just put a blanket price on it. What Countries Have The Highest Priced Weed?

1. Norway – $21.90/gram

Norway has the most expensive weed per gram on the list of countries with the highest-priced weed. This country still has some pretty serious cannabis laws, and if you have any higher than 15 grams on you, you’ll be penalized severely. Norway is also in a northern location, so that might be part of why weed is priced so high there.

2. Estonia – $20.41/gram

Estonia comes in second place for the highest-priced weed, and you’re legally allowed to carry 7.5 grams of it. If you’re carrying any higher than that amount and get caught, there’s a chance you could be facing up to five years in jail.

3. Finland – $19.12/gram

Finland also has some pretty strict cannabis rules and also a fairly low supply of cannabis. These two factors play a role in the high prices of the cannabis found there. Some people have stated that they still could get weed in Helsinki, but that it wasn’t very high quality.

4. Japan – $15.67/gram

In addition to the strict cannabis laws, Japan doesn’t have a lot of cannabis cultivation being conducted there. People living there are allowed to have CBD oil for medicinal use, but if you smoke weed in Japan, a lot of people will look down on you for it.

5. Ireland – $13.45/gram

Weed is still not fully legal in Ireland, and a gram of it will cost you $13.45. Weed might soon be becoming legal there in the future, but not quite at the moment.

What Countries Have The lowest-priced Weed?

1. Uruguay – $1/gram

If you ever plan on taking a visit to Uruguay, you’ll be glad to know that the cost of weed is dirt cheap there. Cannabis use is legal in Uruguay and it’s used on a wide scale. People can plant six cannabis plants there, but when it’s priced at $1 a gram, it’s almost too cheap to even bother spending the effort planting it.

2. Brazil – $2.41/gram

While weed isn’t entirely legal in Brazil yet, it’s still only $2.41 a gram to purchase. Because of Brazil’s climate, weed is grown on a wide scale.

3. India – $3.03/gram

In India, the Cannabis plant is known to be a sacred one. There’s a lot of land throughout India, and that means there are lots of places to grow marijuana. Weed isn’t the only thing that’s cheaply priced in India. You’ll notice many other products there are cheaper than in other parts of the world.

4. Afghanistan – $4.35/gram

Afghanistan is known to be the biggest producer of opium in comparison to anywhere else in the world. It’s also known to be the biggest marijuana producer in the world. Many cannabis farmers in Afghanistan are able to grow anywhere between 1,500 – 3,500 tons per year it. A lot of the farmers will make hash out of the weed.

5. South Africa – $4.45/gram

Even though it’s not a crime to be carrying cannabis throughout South Africa, the full legalization of it is still a ways away. But there are enough cannabis farmers there that grow it to keep the prices pretty low.
